The Man Dan arrived back in the UK 10 days ago after another crazy summer working in Ibiza! Met a new bunch of amazing people on the amazing White Isle. 2009 was alot different to 2008 in the fact I think the credit crunch had an effect on tourist numbers. I can remember the West End in 2008 to be heaving in comparison to 2009. But hey cant complain, had some wicked nights in the best clubs in the world. It was a shame Shipwrecked, the infamous workers boat party wasnt allowed to run in 2009 due to Policia clampdown. Although Viva Voyages, run by Nathan Viva proved a big hit with workers with themed cruises and lots of wonkyness.

Well its been 3 months now since The Man Dan left the U.K for the White Isle, cant believe how fast its gone! Quarter of a year! The Man Dan decided to quit his job at Eden and start living the proper Ibiza Dream. Working 6 nights a week until stupid o'clock was pretty shabby but it brought the wedge in, saved up enough for this months rent and plenty of spending money...So let the party begin...!

Bloody hell cant believe its been that long since The Man Dan last updated the site! Well where do I start...these past 52 days have been crazy! At one point I thought I might have to come home...but managed to get a sweet job working for Eden Nightclub located in San Antonio and what can I say...The Man Dan is loving the Ibiza life for the second season, different from last year, im actually working with a contract and licence, promoting mental line-ups and not having to dodge the Policia Locals! And yes they are as brutal as ever!

The usual Looky-Looky's, "Eh Del Boy very nice sunglasses" and Sucky-Sucky's are out in force again to roam the streets looking for only the very drunken of people...

Theres been some sites this year...and thats just talking about the messy-ness of some of the tourist's, think what the workers have been like!  Ibiza 2009 season is finally starting to pick up, went over Bora Bora beach last Sunday, had the day of my life and as each plane flew over The Man Dan just kept thinking money...money...yesss!

Last Tuesday TheManDan went to watch The Kooks play at Ibiza Rocks Hotel and it was an amazing gig, proper packed out and much busier than last year when I watched The Streets, with the whole crowd singing along to their tuneage "Do You Want To Go The Seaside..."

! New Blog Post ! 15/05/09

The Man Dan has been on the White Isle since 2nd May and loving every minute of it so far! The past 13 days have gone pretty slow but plenty of messy times...with plenty more to come!

Havent managed to find a job yet but Im waiting for the right to come along. The West End hasnt changed at all, the same crazy Bars are open again for the Summer 2009 Season, with a few new ones, including The Dub Bar, a new Drum N Bass bar!
